Comparative Study between the Bible versus the Quran (26)
Chapter by Chapter and Verse by Verse;
(Chapter 26:1-10)

The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. They asked him of his wife; and he said: she is my sister! (same as Abraham had done before). God promised to make his seed to multiply as the stars of heaven (scientifically speaking, this never happened!).
The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus said that he is betrayed to be crucified at the Passover. The Jewish high priest and the chief priests assembled and consulted to take Jesus and kill him.
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the verses of the Quran make plain the lawful and the unlawful, the commands and prohibitions. Muhammad was very sad because the unbelievers did not believe (he knows their fate, the hell). Allah could send down to them a sign from the heaven, but they are always denied. Allah is the Mighty One, Who will exact vengeance from the disbelievers, the Merciful, Who shows mercy to believers.

Verses from 1-10 are talking about Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. They asked him of his wife; and he said: she is my sister! (same as Abraham had done before). God promised to make his seed to multiply as the stars of heaven (scientifically speaking, this never happened!).

Genesis 26 (King James Version)

1] And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
2] And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3] Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4] And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
5] Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
6] And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:
7] And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.
8] And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
9] And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife; and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.
10] And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.

Chapter 26 in the New Testament is Matthew 26; it is composed of 75 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus said that he is betrayed to be crucified at the Passover. The Jewish high priest and the chief priests assembled and consulted to take Jesus and kill him.
Matthew 26 (King James Version)

1] And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
2] Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
3] Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4] And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
5] But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.
6] Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,
7] There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.
8] But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
9] For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
10] When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

Perhaps, O Muhammad you might kill yourself, out of distress for the reason, that the people will not become believers (because he knows that they will go to the Eternal hell)
If Allah will, He will send down to them a sign from the heaven. But they are always denial.
Verily then they have Allahs message; but soon there will come to them the news, the consequences, of that which they used to deride.

Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?
By the way, the disbelieved ignorant Arabs stated that the Quran quoted from the Bible more than 1400 years ago! (Read my article about chapter 25).
